Amanda Gitlin Weiner is a leadership coach and senior consultant who empowers others to achieve organizational and personal goals in a way that is authentic, engaging, and effective. Amanda partners with leaders at all levels to help each find his/their potential, believing that one need not have a formal “leader” title to act and be perceived as one.  Amanda also works with groups and teams to help them function effectively in order to achieve an organization’s goals in a way that feels sincere to them as individuals. Amanda approaches each engagement through the lens of organizational theories coupled with strength-based individual approaches.    She is passionate about organizational culture and has a particular focus on fostering inclusion in organizations.

She is a skilled presenter and educator, and has both created and facilitated sessions on nearly all aspects of leadership and change management.  Amanda engages in projects across all facets of organizational development and effectiveness, but what Amanda loves most is working with individuals/groups/teams to develop key competencies and strengths. To do so, she uses tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), 360 assessments, and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior (FIRO-B), strategic planning tools, team norming/forming sessions, and individual leadership coaching.

Amanda holds an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers College  and a BSM from Tulane University’s AB Freeman School of Business. She has a certificate in Executive Coaching from iCoachNewYork and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). On the weekends, Amanda and her family love exploring New York City by bicycle.
